This board comprises young professionals who serve as advisors and ambassadors for A Chance In Life’s work around the world.

As a Young Ambassador, you will join our organization in an advisory role and gain exclusive knowledge of and access to our diverse range of programs, opportunities for personal and professional development, and the chance to make a tangible difference in communities worldwide. You can expect to engage directly with our work, represent our organization as an ambassador in your community, and volunteer at our impactful events and initiatives. What is A Chance In Life?
A Chance In Life is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, serving young people around the world since 1945. Our mission is to empower marginalized and at-risk young people around the world with education, healthcare, comprehensive support services and leadership development training – a combination service model known as Positive Youth Development. We are committed to creating positive changes in the lives of children and youth and breaking the cycle of poverty. We envision a world where every child, regardless of their background or circumstances, has equal opportunities to thrive, realize their potential and become leaders in their communities. Through our approach, Positive Youth Development, we serve more than 5,000 children and youth across the globe every year, in addition to their families and communities.
What will I do in this role?
As a Young Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to engage with A Chance In Life in an advisory position, supporting our event planning, fundraising, and programmatic initiatives. Young Ambassadors commit to making a donation of less than $1/day or $360/year. Young Ambassadors are encouraged to leverage their networks to raise funds to meet this goal!
Additionally, you will participate in six meetings per year, held every two months, where your insights and feedback will help shape our programs and organization’s activities. These meetings may include socials and networking events, strategic planning, event planning, volunteer opportunities, excursions and trips to our programs, and more!
We seek ambassadors who are not only passionate and excited about ACIL’s work but also enthusiastic about sharing our mission and impact within their networks. Your dedication will play a crucial role in advancing our initiatives and empowering young people worldwide.

As a unique and exciting perk, you may even have the chance to travel and visit our programs around the world, gaining firsthand insight into the global reach and effectiveness of our work! This role not only allows you to contribute to a meaningful cause but also helps you grow, learn, and build lasting connections.
How long is the term?
Young Ambassadors will serve for a term of one year, eligible for renewal.
