In the early hours of the morning, A Chance In Life President/CEO Gabriele Delmonaco received a dire message from Sister Luciana, the dedicated Director of Ephpheta. Heartbroken, she painted a vivid picture of the desperate situation on the ground where innocent children must endure unimaginable suffering.
The Ephpheta School for the Deaf in Bethlehem has been a refuge for countless deaf children, irrespective of their faith and background.
Today the instructors and staff work tirelessly to continue providing education and a sense of normalcy to children with hearing impairments. Unfortunately, the worsening humanitarian crisis has severely disrupted the school and shattered the lives of the children and families it serves.
We need your help to provide the children and their families with lifelines for essential food, medical supplies and the opportunity to continue their education.
Your $500 donation can sustain an entire family of six for a month, offering them hope amidst the ongoing crisis.
