Help us keep our students in Ethiopia connected to technology

Ethiopia has one of the lowest rates of educational access in the world. A Chance In Life is working to change that, partnering with primary schools, high schools, and technical colleges to provide young people with school fees, uniforms, supplies, and housing so they have opportunities to continue their education and prepare for future employment.

But getting children into school is only half the battle – we must also ensure that the schools have the proper resources to provide education. At St. Anthony High School in Emdibir, that means upgrading the computer lab to replace the 20 broken, decades old desktop computers. None of the machines in the current lab are operational, which means the 300 students at the school have no access to online research materials, hands on tutorials, or even basic word processing. We urgently need to replace these computers so that the students have access to educational resources and continue their academic careers.

The total cost to upgrade the computer lab is $25,000. Your gift of as little as $50 will have a huge impact on our students.

A generous donor has agreed to match every donation we raise, dollar for dollar, up to $12,500. Please, help us raise the funds necessary to get technology into the hands of the students in Ethiopia. We will rush your donation to our program right away.
