Empowered women are catalysts for positive change, uplifting communities and creating a brighter future for children and youth. A Chance In Life – The Village was thrilled to present the Empower Her Wellness Day, a significant event aimed at empowering women and fostering confidence and well-being within the community. On Wednesday, March 6, the gathering brought together women from diverse backgrounds for a day of connection, support and empowerment.
A Chance In Life – The Village collaborated with esteemed partners dedicated to uplifting women, including The Estée Lauder Companies Charitable Foundation, A.F. Bennett Salon & Wellness Spa, BELLA Magazine, Be Yoga SI, Mocktail Mart, Community Media of Staten Island, Harley Cares Solutions Inc., Healthfirst, Marcie Photography, Paul Mitchell The School NYC, Simply Asha and The Spa Expectations.

About the Empower Her Wellness Day:
The Empower Her Wellness Day provided an opportunity for women to strengthen connections, share experiences and cultivate lasting relationships. With nearly 50 attendees, the event featured enriching activities focused on empowerment, confidence and well-being. This inclusive gathering welcomed women from diverse backgrounds to unite in a supportive environment, where they could uplift and inspire one another. A Chance In Life – The Village’s esteemed partners offered a range of activities and resources including hairstyling appointments, a photoshoot, essential hygiene products, health care information, massages, jewelry, skin treatments, refreshments, makeup and skincare products, magazine publications and more. These offerings empowered women in the community with self-care and resources to thrive.
Paul Mitchell The School NYC offered free hair styling appointments to women in the community.
