A Chance In Life’s Chris Dowling Elected to Chair the Staten Island Hunger Task Force

A Chance In Life is proud to share that our Director of Community Engagement of The Village Chris Dowling was elected to Chair the Staten Island Hunger Task Force in 2024! The Hunger Task Force (hungryonstatenisland.com) collaborates with organizations to connect community members to pantries and pantries to important resources. “The valuable tools provided on the website have been a blessing for those in need. I have been involved for the last 5 years and am pleased and honored by my election to the Chair position. We will be working to alleviate the growing food desert on the North Shore of Staten Island and continue to help those in need through our own The Village Free Market Pantry and through working with all the other pantries on the island,” Chris shared.
We congratulate Chris on his outstanding work and dedication!
