Journey to Neverland Launch

Eighty years ago, a visionary priest named John Patrick Carroll-Abbing stood among the ruins of post- war Italy and saw something extraordinary—not destruction, but possibility. He saw thousands of orphaned children, abandoned and alone, and he made them a promise: you are not forgotten.
From that promise, he built something revolutionary – Boys’ Towns of Italy – where vulnerable children could govern themselves, learn leadership, and build a future of purpose. His dream grew into what we now call A Chance In Life. And for the past 80 years, we have provided over 80,000 youth across the globe with education, vocational training, and the support they need to thrive.

But today, the need is greater than ever. Over 300 million children around the world live in extreme poverty, according to the World Bank. This number reminds us of the importance of our work and the relevance of our founder’s legacy. That is why we are launching our most ambitious campaign yet:
Journey to Neverland: Celebrating 80 Years of Magic for Lost Boys and Girls.
This campaign is your chance to make a promise to the next generation of vulnerable youth: We are here for you.
Our goal is to raise $2.5 million through an Initial Philanthropic Offering (IPO) – a groundbreaking way for you to invest in the future of thousands of at-risk youth. By “purchasing” a symbolic share of A Chance In Life’s mission, you make an investment in the dreams of vulnerable children across the globe! You ensure that A Chance In Life can continue supporting even more children who need our help.

In 2025, we don’t just want to celebrate our past – we want to secure the future for the next 80 years and beyond. Will you make your investment today?

Why Now?
Because the world still has lost boys and girls. Because there are still children waiting for someone to see them, to believe in them, and to give them a chance. Because the world needs more leaders, dreamers, and changemakers – and because those future leaders need you.
Eighty years ago, one man changed the lives of thousands. Imagine what we can do together. Join us in shaping the future – one chance at a time.
Grazie mille,
Gabriele Delmonaco
